A method for transmitting media streaming control message includes acquiring a media streaming control message, and sending the media streaming control message to the media source processing device by H.248 protocol message. A system for transmitting media streaming control message includes media source control device and media source processing device. The media resource processing device is able to acquire the media streaming control message by sending the H.248 protocol message which carries the media streaming control message, or sending the media streaming control message through a tunnel established on the H.248 protocol, so that the media resource processing device may acquire the media streaming control message in such a architecture where the bearing is apart from the control.
