PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile navigation device excellent in visibility capable of easily displaying realistic map image corresponding to actual spectacle observed from a mobile regardless of area, season, or time zone. SOLUTION: The mobile navigation device includes: a position detecting means 10 for detecting the current position and present azimuth of the mobile body; a map information acquisition means 20 for acquiring map information from a memory medium or the outside; an output means 50 for displaying map images around the current position or arbitrary position from the map information; a time detection means 70 for detecting the current year, month, day, and time at the current position; an astronomical location calculation means 80 for calculating the elevation angle or azimuth angle of a heavenly body corresponding to a sky position at the current position and the current year, month, day, and time; a display form changing means 90 for changing the display form of the map image on the basis of the current position, current azimuth, current year, month, day, and time, and elevation angle or azimuth angle.
