<p>An automatic analyzer (1) carries out blank analysis at a predetermined timing before or during analysis, acquires the blank values on reaction vessels on a reaction table (19) as information about the reaction vessels, associates the blank values with the respective serial numbers assigned to the reaction vessels, and stores the information in a storage unit (47). Before the analysis start or at a timing of resuming the analysis after a temporary stop of the analysis, the automatic analyzer (1) acquires the serial numbers of the reaction vessels arranged in their arrangement positions on the reaction table (19) by means of a reader/writer (25) and checks the arrangement of the reaction vessels. For the analysis of a specimen, an analyzing unit (41) corrects the results of measurement by a measurement optical system (23) by using the blank values of the reaction vessels of the measurement subject so as to analyze the specimen.</p> |
