<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact discharge lamp lighting device capable of mounting a circuit component with relatively low rated temperature on a board having a lighting circuit formed without adding a heat radiation means, and to provide a lighting fixture using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The discharge lamp lighting device includes the board 9 having the lighting circuit formed, a lamp socket 10 mounted on the board 9, and a circular fluorescent lamp 8 mounted on the lamp socket 10. Electronic components 18 with relatively high rated temperature such as a line filter LF1 and choke coils RFC1, RFC2 are arranged on the board 9 at a section where a light-emitting tube 11 is arranged at a mounting state of the fluorescent lamp 8, and electronic components 19 with relatively low rated temperature such as an electrolytic capacitor C3, a light-receiving element 4, and an LED 5 for a night-light are arranged at an inner section separated from the light-emitting tube 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
