PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a posture evaluation system for pet capable of detecting the psychological state and health condition of a pet developed in the change of the lying posture of the pet. SOLUTION: The pet posture evaluation system 1 is provided with a plurality of pressure sensors 4 detecting the pressure applied to a bed face 3a of a bed 3 on which the pet 2 lies by using the bed face 3a as the detection area, a posture detecting part to detect the posture of the pet 2 lying on the bed 3 based on the detection information acquired by the pressure sensors 4 and prepare the posture data, and a posture comparing part to store the posture data prepared by the posture detection part and compare the present posture data with the past posture data. Since the lying posture of the pet 2 is detected by the pressure sensors 4 and the present posture data is compared with the past posture data, the change in the lying posture of the pet 2 can be detected to enable the detection of the psychological state and health condition of the pet 2 developed in the change of the posture.
