<p>A cuff for sphygmomanometers increased in durability by providing an excellent mechanical strength to a fastening mechanism and a holding mechanism, reduced in size, increased in blood pressure measuring accuracy by improving its fittability to the arm of the user, and increased in operability. The cuff (1) for sphygmomanometers comprises the fastening mechanism (2) for fastening a flexible cuff (11) and the holding mechanism (3) for holding the fastening position of the fastened flexible cuff (11). The fastening mechanism (2) comprises a rack (42) formed in a fastening belt (4) and a pinion gear (22). When the pinion gear (22) is rotated, the rack (42) is fed in the fastening direction. The holding mechanism (3) has holding holes (43) formed in the fastening belt (4) at multiple positions in the longitudinal direction and holding pins (31) engageable with the holding holes (43). The fastening position of the flexible cuff (11) can be held by engaging the holding pins (31) with the holding holes (43).</p> |
