FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention deals with design of pipe fittings, the described device intended to be utilised as a membranous stop or regulation valve with pipeline systems. The sphincter valve contains a tubular membrane represented by an elastic cylindrical nipple. The above nipple has flanges joined to those of the valve as well as two crosswise positioned corrugation elements. The corrugation elements are arranges symmetrical relative to the nipple middle pinch part. The above-mentioned middle part of the nipple interacts with the constriction mechanism. If viewed cross-sectionally, the corrugation elements are oval or ellipse shaped. The oval (ellipse) minor axis is located within the constriction plane. The minor axis length is equal to 1.1-1.2 of the nipple diameter. The major axis length is equal to 1.3-1.5 of the nipple diameter. The corrugated elements have a cross-section radius equal to 0.1-0.2 of the nipple diameter and are conjugated with the nipple wall via smooth-shaped transition sections.
