A system for payment approval is provided to quickly and conveniently process proxy approval of micro payment rather than cash payment, thereby activating micro payment of a credit card. A document reading unit(615) checks a card number and the amount of payment money included in a payment approval request document. An information comparison unit checks whether a card number including in a document belongs to a preset proxy approval target card number and checks whether the amount of payment included in the document satisfies a payment approval limit corresponding to the proxy approval target card number. When the card number included in the document does not belong to the proxy approval target card number or the amount of payment included in the document does not satisfy the proxy approval limit, a payment approval processor(620) transfers a payment approval request document to a card company server corresponding to the card number. |
