The device (16) has a sliding rail (18) including two raceways (18A, 18B) that are arranged parallel to one another. A strip (42) is arranged at the interior of the rail and intercalated between the rail and a carriage (20) on the raceways of the rail. The strip has absorption units formed of bevel and flat parts to absorb transversal clearance of the carriage with respect to the rail. The units transversally position rear and front guiding rollers (22A, 22B) of the carriage from a support on the raceway (18A) towards a support on the raceway (18B) of the rail.
