PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent resin composition that gives a high refractive index and is developable, and to provide an optical member using the composition. SOLUTION: The transparent resin composition comprises inorganic fine particles (A) dispersible in an organic solvent or an alkali liquid and subjected to surface modification with at least one kind of phosphorus-containing surfactant, and at least one kind of transparent resin (B). The optical member uses the above composition.
