PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To largely open/close an opening of a roof without mutual interference of a front panel and a rear panel. SOLUTION: In this sunroof device, the front panel 32 is retreated along an external surface of the roof 11 and becomes a half-opened state after a rear end of the front panel 32 is inclined upward according to driving force of an electric motor, when the front panel 32 and the rear panel 33 are in full close states. The rear panel 33 is retreated along an internal surface 11b of the roof and the front panel 32 is retreated along the external surface of the roof, and thereby the front panel 32 and the rear panel 33 become full open states. A rear panel driving mechanism 39 elevates, opens and closes the rear panel 33, and is provided with a panel front end rising regulating part 193 for regulating rising of a front end part of the rear panel 33 when a rear end part of the rear panel 33 of the full close state is lowered.
