A polyester release film for a polarizer is provided to inhibit the generation of static electricity when a release film is stripped before the adhesion of glass, thereby preventing the contamination of an adhesive layer. A polyester release film for a polarizer comprises a polyester base film; a conductive primer layer formed by a conductive primer coating solution comprising a polythiophene represented by the formula 1; and a silicone release coating layer formed by a coating solution comprising a curing silicone resin of the polydimethylsiloxane and the hydrogen silane represented by the formulas 2 and 3, wherein 500<=a<=5,000; 1.0<=o/m<=1.4; 100<=m+n<=5,000; and 10<=o+p<=200.
