<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an equipment controller and an on-vehicle equipment controller capable easily changing default setting while enhancing convenience of a user by suppressing unnecessary change of the default setting. <P>SOLUTION: When switching of ON/OFF of an on-vehicle sonar 2 is only desired, a driver presses/operates a sonar switch 12 by less than two seconds, and when switching of ON/OFF and change of default setting are desired, the sonar switch 12 is pressed/operated by two seconds or longer. When the sonar switch 12 is pressed/operated, ON/OFF of the on-vehicle sonar 2 is switched. However, when it is pressed/operated by two seconds or longer, default setting of ON/OFF of the on-vehicle sonar 2 memorized in EEPROM 53 is changed, but when it is pressed/operated by less than two seconds, it is not changed. Thus, the on-vehicle sonar 2 is turned ON (or OFF) at starting of the vehicle 5 according to "ON" (or "OFF") of default setting memorized in EEPROM 53. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
