<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket connector that is improved in transmission speed and that makes the manufacturing processes facilitated. <P>SOLUTION: A socket connector includes a first insulating body containing a first base part and a second clapper piece formed so as to be protruded forward from the first base part; a second insulating body containing a second base part and a second clapper piece formed so as to be protruded from the second base part forward in a parallel state with the first clapper piece, and assembled with the first insulating body; a first conductive terminal pair, mounted on the first insulating body and a second conductive terminal pair mounted on the second insulating body. The first conductive terminal pair contains a plurality of first terminals and second terminals; the first terminal contains a first contact part having an elastic part and a first tail part; the second terminal contains a plate-like second contact part and a second tail part; and the first contact part and the second contact part are arranged on the top wall of the first clapper piece, at the same time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
