SURFACE-MOUNTING CRYSTAL FILTER, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-mounting crystal filter in which productivity is improved while maintaining reliability by having compatibility between small-sizing and band-widening accompanying frequency increase.

SOLUTION: A surface-mounting crystal filter includes: a crystal chip 1 with input/output electrodes 4a and 4b formed on one principal surface and with a common electrode 5 formed on another principal surface; a container body 2 including a recessed portion for accommodating the crystal chip 1 therein; and a cover 3 for sealing the container body 2, wherein a frequency control body higher than a peripheral portion is included in a central portion of the common electrode 5 facing a gap portion between the input/output electrodes 4a and 4b, and the frequency control body includes a load electrode 7 which is formed when forming the input/output electrodes 4a and 4b and the common electrode 5, prior to accommodating the crystal chip 1 in the container body 2.
