<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door handle structure of an automobile, which prevents a sliding door from being closed because the body of a person getting in/out of the automobile comes into careless contact with an inside door handle when he/she gets in/out of the automobile. <P>SOLUTION: This door handle structure 1 of the automobile comprises a door opening/closing handle 2 which is rotatably attached to an indoor-side wall surface 11 of the sliding door of the automobile, and a barrier member 3 which is fixed to the indoor-side wall surface 11 so as to regulate contact with the door opening/closing handle 2. The barrier member 3 comprises an upper portion 31 which is fixed to the indoor-side wall surface on the upside of the door opening/closing handle 2, a columnar portion 32 which is bent at the leading end of the upper portion and elongated downward, and a lower portion 33 which is bent at the lower end of the columnar portion and fixed to the indoor-side wall surface on the downside of the door opening/closing handle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
