PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact container which effectively prevents damage to a solid cosmetic material contained in a cosmetic material tray when impact is applied. SOLUTION: Locking parts 25 and 26 which are detachably locked to the other locking part 33 arranged on the outer peripheral surface 32 of the cosmetic material tray 3 are formed at a predetermined height of the inner surface of the frame wall 20 of the inner frame 2. The inner frame 2 is fitted to and supported by a storing recess part 11 of the container body 1 through a flange-like cover 27 which is formed on the upper edge of its frame wall 20 along the upper surface 18 of peripheral walls 12, 13, 14 and 15 forming the storing recess part 11 of the container body 1 and is extended outward. In this case, the inner frame 2 is provided with a slit 5 which is formed in the peripheral walls 12, 13, 14 and 15 forming the storing recess part 11 of the container body 1 at a height higher than the position of the locking parts 25 and 26 except a part as the supporting part to the storing recess part 11 of the container body 1. The inner frame 2 is supported with a containing part 22 of the cosmetic material tray 3 in the inner frame 2 being suspended in a predetermined space of the storing recess part 11 by the supporting part.
