PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a drive system capable of driving at least two sheet feeding devices by a common driving source with a common driving source. SOLUTION: This recording device comprises an ASF (sheet feeding apparatus) 2 obtaining a driving force for rotation from a sheet feeding-cleaning motor 106 and controlled by a normal rotation of the motor 106, and a U-turn feeding device 10 controlled by a reverse rotation of the motor 106. Furthermore, the recording device has a swing arm A126 for transmitting a rotary driving force of the motor 106 to the ASF 2 and the U-turn feeding device 10, and is switched to the drive of the U-turn feeding device 10 by a swing of the ASF 2 in an opposite direction in one direction of the arm 126.
