<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhausting and dust-discharging damper for an air conditioner capable of preventing a blocked state near a flow passage opening/closing lid due to dust removed by a filter cleaning function and positively discharging the dust outdoors. <P>SOLUTION: The exhausting and dust-discharging damper for the air conditioner is composed of a shaft portion 1 mounted on the tip of a ventilating hose (not shown in the figure) used for ventilating and discharging dust; the flow passage opening/closing lid 2 turnably provided to the shaft portion 1; and a cuff 3 for covering the shaft portion 1 and the flow passage opening/closing cover 2. An open part 4 is provided at the bottom part of the cuff 3. Since the open part 4 is provided at the lower part of an outlet of the flow passage opening/closing lid 2 inside the cuff 3 where dust easily accumulates by lowering of wind velocity, accumulation of dust is prevented, and blockage of the flow passage by accumulation of dust is prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
