PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively collect tar in gas with a broad range of boiling points by taking analysis into consideration. SOLUTION: This tar collecting device comprises a scrubbing bottle 14 for introducing sampling gas, a drain collector 8 for collecting drain which is provided by cooling the sampling gas to the water solidification temperature with water 15 supplied with dry ice 17 from outside of the scrubbing bottle 14 and being condensed, an outside container 22 which surrounds the exterior of the scrubbing bottle 14 and stores acetone 21, and a dry ice feeder 24 which feeds dry ice 23 to the acetone 21 of the outside container 22. The device also comprises a low boiling-point component collector 9 which collects low boiling-point components cooled and condensed to the temperature not causing solidification of carbon dioxide in the sampling gas.
