The unit comprises a cartridge heater (10) with a substantially cylindrical form and a plug (12) with a generally tubular configuration. The plug (12) has a sleeve-shaped appendage (14) fixed around a proximal end (16) of the heater (10) and has a threaded outer circumferential region (18) capable of enabling the connection of the unit to a device containing a liquid to be heated. A tubular seal (24) is arranged between a circumferential portion of the appendage (14) and the proximal end (16) of the heater (10).
