PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single-component developing device suppressing uneven image density due to insufficient resetting property of toner and obtaining excellent image stability. SOLUTION: The single-component developing device includes at least a developing roller 103 for depositing a pulverized toner with internally added wax on an image carrier 2 where an electrostatic latent image is formed and visualizing the electrostatic latent image, and with a destaticization sheet 108 to be brought into contact with the developing roller 103 to eliminate charges held by the toner, wherein the volume resistivity R (Ωcm) of the destaticization sheet and the impedance Z (Ω) of the toner satisfy the relationship of the following expressions (1) to (3) and the frictional force between toner particles is 2.0 to 2.5 mNm. The expressions are: (1) 10<Log<SB>10</SB>R<14; (2) 8.00<Log<SB>10</SB>Z<10.70; and (3)-1.5×Log<SB>10</SB>R+23.5<Log<SB>10</SB>Z<-1.5×Log<SB>10</SB>R+31.0. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
