The present invention provides a sensor device (10) for determining the presence and/or amount of target moieties (5) in a first, sample fluid (4). The sensor device (10) comprises fluid displacement means for controlled displacing the first, sample fluid(4)comprising the target moieties(5) and a second washing fluid (6). The sensor device (10) according to embodiments of the invention allows repeatedly washing and detecting the presence and/or amount of target moieties (7) bound to a sensor substrate surface (3). The present invention also provides a method for forming such sensor devices (10) and a method for determining the presence and/or amount of target moieties (5) in a first, sample fluid (4) using such sensor devices (10).
