PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rack mechanism member for a lens driving device and the lens driving device, which are hard to be disassembled by an unintended external force. SOLUTION: This rack mechanism member is arranged between a lens group holding frame of an imaging device and a lead screw in order to transfer driving force from the lead screw to the lens group holding frame and move the lens group holding frame along the optical axis. The rack mechanism member comprises a nut, a nut presser, and a torsion spring. The torsion spring is arranged between the nut and the nut presser. A lead screw storage part is formed of the nut and the nut presser. The torsion spring is engaged with the nut at one end and the nut presser at the other end, respectively.
