A power train of the auto transmission for the vehicles is provided to form the forward stage of 8 speed and the backward stage of 1 speed by using the two planetary gear set and one complex planetary gear set. The first planetary gear set(PG1) is formed with the single pinion planetary gear set. The first planetary gear set comprises the sun gear(S1), and the planetary carrier(PC1) and the ring gear(R1). The sun gear is directly connected to the input shaft(IS) to form the first input route(IP1). The planetary carrier forms the first intermediate output route(MOP1) as the output primitive. The ring gear is directly connected to the transmission housing(H) and is functioned as the fixed element. The second planet gear set(PG2) is formed with the double pinion planetary gear set. The second planet gear set comprises the sun gear(S2), and the ring gear(R2) and planetary carrier(PC2). The third planetary gear set(PG3) comprises the combination of the double pinion planetary gear set and single pinion planetary gear set.
