<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant cultivation medium readily usable without being limited by a place to be greened and/or greening cultivation, prevented from outflow of soil when raining, excellent in drainage properties, water-holding properties and fertilizer-holding properties, making growing condition of plants favorable, and light in weight. <P>SOLUTION: The plant cultivation medium includes bark chips, natural pumice, foam glass bodies and vermiculite. The bark chips include pine-tree ones, and supply organic matters and/or moisture to plants. The pumice improves the drainage properties and the water-holding properties, and the foam glass bodies improve the drainage properties, the water-holding properties and acidity. The vermiculite improves the water-holding properties and the fertilizer-holding properties, and has a specific gravity of 0.20-0.35. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
