An electric power source device that can be easily assembled and into which a battery assembly and a measurement section can be inserted and removed. The electric power source device (1) has the battery assembly (2), first busbars (51), and a plate (3) to which the first busbars (51) are attached and that is laid over the battery assembly (2). The battery assembly (2) has battery cells (21) each having a positive electrode (23) at one end and a negative electrode (24) at the other end. When the plate (3) is laid over the battery assembly (2), the first busbars (51) each interconnect the positive electrode (23) of one battery (21) and the negative electrode (24) of another battery (21) adjacent to the one battery (21). The electric power source device (1) further has positioning means (71) for positioning the battery assembly (2) and the plate (3) relative to each other and also has guide means (72) which, when the plate (3) is laid over the battery assembly (2), guides the first busbars (51) to positions where the first busbars (51) each interconnect their respective corresponding positive and negative electrodes (23, 24).
