<p>A method and a system for establishing and fixing the course of an elongated structure, by way of example a conveyor (34) comprising one or more mutually pivoting members (2, 20) which at opposite ends include pivot joints with mutually complementing joint faces (10, 24), and which are preferably supported on a surface, wherein the pivoting members (2, 20) are arranged in a desired course which is subsequently fixed by supplying a pressure medium to a flexible hose (30) running through cavities (28) of the pivoting members (2, 20) such that the external surface of the hose exerts a fixing pressure on the complementary joint faces (10, 24) of the pivoting joints. Hereby is enabled achieving a considerably improved flexibility of e.g. conveyor systems in a very simple way. Besides, it is to be mentioned that it also becomes possible to achieve substantial advantages in establishing and fixing mechanical connections in general.</p> |
