An apparatus and a method for providing a graphic user interface which rapidly searches a menu in which a user wants are provided to offer the screen conversion and a fast path to a user and indicate a menu on two surfaces of three-dimensional block. A graphic user device for providing interface(100) comprises a menu information storage unit(110), an output unit(120), a user input portion(130) and a controller(140). The menu information storage unit stores category information classifying a plurality of menu items corresponding to a plurality of contents according to the predetermined classification standard. The output unit outputs the first menu in which a plurality of menu items is enumerated to the prescribed direction. The output unit outputs the second menu classifying the menu item corresponding to the input value of the user inputted through the user input portion according to the first area and the second part according to the predetermined classification standard.
