<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package for storing a light emitting element that does not cause the generation of air bubbles in a cavity or the extrusion of adhesives in sealing the inside of the cavity with a sealant and allows good light distribution and reflection factors to attain when used for a light emitting device, and provide a light emitting device using the package for storing the light emitting element. <P>SOLUTION: A package for storing a light emitting element comprises at least a base body and a frame body joined by an adhesive layer, and the package for storing the light emitting element is characterized in that a recessed portion having a width of 0.01 to 0.5 mm and a height of 0.01 to 0.2 mm exists in the inner peripheral portion of the bottom of the frame body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
