PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce mounting cost, and to improve prediction accuracy of branch prediction. SOLUTION: In this information processor, a weight selection part 61 selects and reads weight corresponding to a normal spacing index 87 generated by use of a plurality of multiplex addresses having comparatively short mutual inter-instruction distances or a long spacing index 88 generated by use of a plurality of multiplex addresses having comparatively long mutual inter-instruction distances from a weight table 82. A weighted branch result value calculation part 62 calculates a weighted branch result value. A weighted branch result value accumulation part 63 and a weighted branch result value accumulation part 71 each accumulate a weighted branch result value. A prediction value calculation part 73 calculates a prediction value by adding the weighted branch result accumulation value and a threshold value.
