An apparatus and method for treating a patient by using an ultrasonic treatment apparatus having an operating unit in communication with an ultrasonic transducer treatment module, including performing ultrasonic therapy to a treatment area of the patient via the ultrasonic transducer treatment module; receiving first data relating to the treatment area of the patient; processing the first data into second data via the operating unit; transmitting the second data to a transferring device; extracting the second data from the transferring device; and evaluating adherence to prescribed ultrasonic therapy using the second data transmitted by and extracted from the transferring device.
