<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a board management method for a disk control device that can shorten the time required for maintenance/replacement necessary after memory PK fails. <P>SOLUTION: A controller unit 10 controls a means for accessing memory boards loaded in a plurality of memory board mounting slots 12 to 1n and 22 to 2n while controlling a hard disk drive unit, and when any one of the memory boards is accessed, translates logical address information to the slot specified by the access into physical address information, where the slot is actually loaded, by reference to a base memory address management table; and updates the base memory address management table. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
