<p>The method involves measuring (1) a dielectric characteristic of an insulation. An uncorrected moisture content of the insulation and a conductivity of fluid contained in the insulation are obtained (8) from a model of the insulation, which is chosen depending on one of the measured dielectric characteristic of the insulation. The moisture content of the insulation is corrected (9) using the conductivity. An independent claim is included for a device for determining a moisture content of an insulation of a transformer.</p> |
