<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging apparatus reduced in size and thickness and to which high reliability (environment resistance) and performance are given by using a simple and inexpensive method. <P>SOLUTION: The solid-state imaging apparatus 10 includes at least a solid-state imaging element 1 in which an effective pixel region is formed; a transparent plate 3 having planar dimensions equivalent to those of the effective pixel region and opposing the effective pixel region; an optical element 5 formed on the transparent plate 3; and a fixing section 7 for fixing the optical element 5 with the transparent plate 3, wherein the fixing section 7 is in close contact with a region on the wall surface of the transparent plate 3, including an end portion on the side of the optical element 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
