A back beam for vehicle bumper is provided that the safety of passenger and operator is heightened since the impact applied to the vehicles is dispersed and absorbed efficiently. A back beam for vehicle bumper comprises panels(11,12), odd number projections(11a,12b) in which odd number of protrusions are formed along by the width of the panel, and even number of projection(11b,12a) in which even number of protrusions are formed along by the width direction of the panel. The projection is by turns alternately formed along the longitudinal direction of the panel.
