PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a directional control technique of a high-speed and highly efficient bidirectional bus in which the transmission/reception of enable information for directional control is eliminated. SOLUTION: A device includes: an enable terminal 009 to which the logical product of signals from signal lines of a bus connected to an input port 005 is supplied; a three-state buffer 001 in a logical simulator side that respectively amplifies the signals from the signal lines constituting the bus; an internal bus 007 connected to the output of the three-state buffer; a logical simulator 040 provided with a logical simulator function block connected to the internal bus; and an enable terminal to which the signals from a verification target logic provided with a plurality of output signal terminals are respectively supplied. The logical simulator function block monitors the state of the internal bus, and when all of the potentials of the signal lines constituting the internal bus are predetermined potentials, the bidirectional bus connecting an emulation board and a logical simulator is considered to be inactive.
