PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a black material having low reflectance of visible light, high degree of blackness and excellent light-shielding property, a black material dispersion liquid in which the black material is dispersed in a disperse medium, a black light-shielding film produced using the black material dispersion liquid, and a black light-shielding film coated base material having the black light-shielding film. SOLUTION: The black material is characterized in that it is composed of silver-tin alloy fine particles and silver fine particles and the content of the silver fine particles is 30 to 90 wt.%.
