PEENING DEVICE AND PEENING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peening device and a peening method which quickly and surely move an external peening device temporarily installed at an outside face of a workpiece to an outside face peening position when applying peening simultaneously to outer and inner face sides of the workpiece in parallel. SOLUTION: An external peening device 3 is prepared at an outside face of the workpiece 1, and an internal peening device 2 is provided at an inside face of the workpiece 1. The external peening device 3 which is temporarily installed at the outside face of the workpiece 1 is moved to a peening start position based on vector information from a reference position of the internal peening device 2 to the inside face peening position; vector information from center of the temporarily installed external peening device 3 to the inside face peening position; vector information from the center of the temporarily installed external peening device 3 to the reference position of the internal peening device 2; and vector information from the peening start position of the external peening device 3 to the reference position of the internal peening device 2.
