<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rehabilitation apparatus for simply performing delicate treatment corresponding to the condition of a disease of each patient. <P>SOLUTION: As for a patient who is unable to move the fingers freely because of contracture etc. and needs rehabilitation for moving the fingers again by moving the fingers with external force, the function of finger operation is restored by the rehabilitation apparatus which has a driving device 2 using shape memory alloy and automatically operates the finger motion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
