[PROBLEMS] To provide an electrophotographic color toner that even at low development potential and low transfer potential, realizes a satisfactory image density, ensuring avoidance of ground fogging and prolonged life and to provide a nonmagnetic one-component color toner that despite developing machine life or environmental change, ensures less ground fogging and that is stable within the scope of low toner consumption rate, being free from toner scattering in machine. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The electrophotographic color toner is characterized by containing an antistatic composition composed mainly of at least a binder resin, a colorant and the following components (A) and (B). Component (A): at least one member selected from among a compound with ether bond and/or ester bond and a (co)polymer with ether bond and/or ester bond. Component (B): component obtained by treating a salt of alkali metal or alkaline earth metal with a compound capable of anion adsorption.
