The coolant collection system (100) has a liquid collection channel (108), which is attached on a thermostat (110) and the coolant is guided to the thermostat. A connection of the liquid collection channel is carried out at the thermostat as interconnected plug connector. The liquid collection channel comprises two liquid outlet paths (117,118). An independent claim is included for a connecting tube for connecting sections of two liquid outlet paths of a coolant system.
