<p>The invention relates to an energy conduction chain for conducting hoses, cables and similar comprising a number of chain links which are interconnected in an articulated manner. Said links are formed by lateral plates (9) which are parallel to one another and by cross-elements which connect said plates. The energy conduction chain can be moved such that it forms a loop consisting of a lower strand, an upper strand and a diverting area which connects said strands and respectively, two lateral plates (9), which are adjacent to one another, and can be pivoted about a common pivotable axis (S) counter to each other. In order to form the most possible continuous surface on the narrow side (10, 11) of the plate strands which is oriented towards the respective opposite strand, the distance of the pivotable axis (S) to the narrow side (10) oriented towards the inside of the loop is smaller than to the narrow side (12) oriented towards the outside of the loop.</p> |
