The headrest (1) has reinforcement (2) formed with an inversed U shaped metal rod, and a pallet (4) made of injected plastic material. The pallet has an upper part mounted in rotation with respect to a central part of the U shaped rod. The pallet has an interlocking unit i.e. hook, assuring mounting in rotation, and a locking unit (6) along a predefined angular positions. The locking unit cooperates with branches (3) of the U shaped rod for realizing the locking of the rod. A shell (16) is associated with respect to a rear surface of the pallet.
