PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve combustion stability in ignition retard in cold-start, to increase in output under a full-open condition, to reduce smoke, and to prevent abrasion of a cylinder liner caused by oil dilution. SOLUTION: A fuel inflow angle is determined by a flow of fuel flowing in an injection hole and a center axis of an injection hole disposed to a plate. In the fuel inflow angle, the fuel inflow angle of the injection hole directed to an ignition plug is made to be large to reduce an effective flow passage area so that a fuel flow rate thereof becomes lower than that of other injection holes. A shallow cavity is formed to a piston crown face, and a small projection facing the fuel spray is formed therein. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
