PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a noncommercial video camera that operation by the left hand is often difficult or impossible because the start of photography, zooming and the like are assumed to be performed by the right hand. SOLUTION: The video camera can be operated by ether the right hand and the left hand by detecting the inclination of the video camera, turning the video information acquired from image sensors upside down when the body is upside down so that a video image is recorded on a recording medium without being turned upside down.
