The method involves creating an absorption-X-ray-computer tomography (CT) representation of patients or region of patients, and creating a phase contrast-x-ray-CT-representation of the patients or other region of patients. Quasi coherent X-ray radiation is produced by x-ray lattices arranged between X-ray sources and the patient for phase contrast measurement. Anatomic orientation is carried out by the absorption-X-ray-representation. Spatial distribution of metabolic markers in a body of the patients is detected by the phase contrast-x-ray-representation. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an X-ray-computer tomography-system comprising a radiation-detector-system (2) an X-ray projection system comprising a radiation-detector system.
