PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner having a sufficient deodorizing effect with a small amount of ozone and reducing user's discomfort caused by odor of ozone itself. SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner 100 includes a suction power portion 5, an air flow passage 32 for conducting air sucked by the suction power portion 5, a dust-collecting portion 4 disposed in the air flow passage 32 and catching dust sucked together with the air, an ozone-generating portion 6 disposed between the inlet of the air flow passage 32 and the dust-collecting portion 4, and generating ozone, and odor adsorption portion 17 disposed in the air flow passage 32 and adsorbing odor components generated from the dust collected in the dust-collecting portion 4 and odor components of ozone generated from the ozone-generating portion 6.
