Weather information is acquired from satellite radio broadcasting to store the weather information in a reception memory (112). Weather information image data for displaying the weather information superposed on a map is created on the basis of the weather information. The map data is stored in a DVD-ROM (114). If the weather information display map is scrolled, the range of the map data displayed on a display monitor (16) is moved. Along with this, the range of the weather information image data for displaying the weather information superposed on the map is moved. After drawing an image memory (15) on the basis of the map data of the moved range, an icon or the like expressing the weather information is superposed on the map and drawn on the basis of the weather information image data of the moved range. The image data stored in the image memory (15) is read to display the drawn weather information display map on the display monitor (16). |
