PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating electrical machine cooling a permanent magnet, reducing weight of a rotor and suppressing variations of weight balance of the rotor. SOLUTION: The rotating electrical machine 100 is provided with a stator 12, the rotor 20 which is inserted into the stator 12 and is rotatably supported, a magnet reception part 32 formed in the rotor 20, the permanent magnet 22 installed in the magnet reception part 32, a hole 31 which is installed in a position apart from the magnet reception part 32 and extends in an axial direction, an end plate 23 disposed at an axial direction end face of the rotor 20, a path 33 which is specified at least by the axial direction end face of the rotor 20 or the end plate 23 and passes above the axial direction end face of the permanent magnet 22 from above an opening part of the hole 31, and an outlet which is specified at least by the axial direction end face of the rotor 20 or the end plate 23 and is connected to the path 33.
